GRATEFUL

I love being an astrological counselor. It's an intimate privilege to be able to help people, using this weird and far-out system. Astrology has an uncanny ability to clarify and give words to all kinds of life themes. My work gives me the opportunity to share in the many choices you make as your life transforms, and to help you navigate the journey to happiness, fulfillment, and enlightenment.
I think of myself as a kind of guidance counselor, using this very sophisticated and amazing system-- instead of an MMPI or preference test, astrology reveals the most subtle and dynamic factors about you. And it tracks the movement of those potentials as you evolve in your life.
I began to do astrology as my life's work after deeply studying my own birth chart for career clues, at age 43, when my heart and soul cried out for full self-expression in work. And what the chart "told" me was that astrology was a natural fit. I could use my intuition, my compassion, my psychological insight, to be of service.
I am grateful to have found my calling, and to have enjoyed it for these many years.

COMMUNICATE!

Mercury has been retrograde for a few weeks, and now it's going forward. Your mind is clear, you've sorted some things out. Now- speak up, speak out, communicate from your heart, share.

Clear your throat, find your voice, let your voice be heard by those most important to you. CONNECT.

Help someone understand an idea or an experience that's important to you. Have essential conversations. Dialogue your way to understanding and cooperation.

Or write a blog post! Communication is fun, and risky, and an act of love.

JUPITER!

Jupiter has turned retrograde: a time to bask in gratitude for all that you are, all that comes through you, all the beauty and goodness in others, and all the resources in the universe that are expressing in your life. Grateful for the opportunity to exist and live in this amazing world. A time to generously dedicate to sharing all of this in relationship, business, service, and community.

TURNING POINT: URANUS SQUARE PLUTO 2012-2015

Crazy-time here on earth. Tremendous energies reshaping our experience of who we are in the world, and in relationships in work and love and community. Pluto in
Capricorn means transformation in all the inner and outer systems, the contexts in which we live-  politics, healthcare, educational institutions, the dynamics of business and finance--- the outer human world. Internally what's transforming is your awareness of your power--
where it comes from, what it is, and how to use it productively. Great courage and drive, especially in the direction of expressing your truth in the world. The key word is transformation, moving from fear to openness, from avoidance to engagement, from repression to empowerment.

At the same time, Uranus in Aries is the high-energy movement of radical freedom.
Breakthroughs of all kinds, and breaking free of beliefs, assumptions, and situations that you have outgrown. Huge energy for change, especially changing how we relate to all the Pluto themes mentioned in the first paragraph. Mentally shifting from being run by your busy mind, to seeing that your are not your mind, and you are free to experience your silent deep consciousness. Socially, all kinds of new ways of connecting and interacting, and a
speeding up of interconnection, through new mediums like facebook and twitter.

You have to almost go crazy, to tear apart or gently separate from the old patterns, structures
and states of comfort, to make your into the evolving transformation. The guiding principles are to move forward by being deeply honest, patiently courageous, and humbly loving. Appreciate that you don't need to suffer, if you are willing to engage the truth. It may be difficult and uncomfortable on this path, but you will be waking up to your role in healing the
world.
