During times of transformation when you are becoming more powerful and more in touch with the truth of who you are, things seem to get harder, and you may feel like you have no idea what's going on. Things that used to flow easily, patterns that were predictable, just don't make sense anymore. Events in the world can seem more horrible than usual, more cruel and senseless.
Actually, you are waking up. And you have to see more clearly the pain of life, the loss and confusion in ordinary life. Your awareness of how things really are is getting stronger, and you have to be more courageous, more calm, more compassionate to be present to the reality that you see. Your eyes are opening, your wisdom eye is revealed, and you just can't keep doing some of the things you were used to doing. Your heart is opening, and waves of caring and connection bring you even more completely into your relationships and your commitment to your service work in the world. Your role, your unique voice gets stronger as your creative energies are evolving and having impact.
And there are flashes where it all makes sense, you see the perfectness of all of it. Then moments, days, months of confusion, fear, a feeling that it doesn't matter, that all is lost. Somewhere between these extremes of enlightened brilliance and stupefying ignorance, you are moving along on your path, getting stronger and more real and wiser. Can you feel it, a gentle steady learning process, doing it one step at a time?
