CREATIVITY

     Mars is opposite to Uranus this week, like it was back in April during the Grand Cardinal Cross. Plenty of assertive creative energy running through our bodies. Lots of ego energy too. A bit like an excited toddler: I want this, I want that, no I don't want what you want me to want, you can't make me. Some defiance, some rebellion, some edgy tension. 
     Perhaps you can feel it in your own life as a need to be free. Or an urge to do it your own way. An impatience to just do it. A new kind of freedom is available to you now. When you realize that you already are completely free to experience your life as it is, you can relax. The awareness that you choose to show up in your life, and express yourself authentically, frees you from the struggle to try to get the approval or agreement of others. Of course, if you are free to be who you are and to make the creative choices you choose to make, you will notice that everyone else in your life is free too!
This can require some diplomacy, some negotiation and dialogue,
a lot of tolerance and flexibility. How can we honor each other's freedom without squelching our own? We are experimenting with the answer to that question. Perhaps it has already been written this way: Love thy neighbor as thyself.
