A SIMPLE MEDITATION

A simple meditation is to breathe into your heart a few times, slowly and deeply, and ask in there "what do I really want?" and ask "what am I really all about, what do I care most about?". And then you connect to  a feeling, a knowing, a remembering, a recollection. You refocus your attention on where you're coming from, not on where you're going. As you deepen that feeling of bringing your whole self here, you get grounded again in who you are, and everything outside of you makes a lot more sense.
You remember that you are creating your life. What's happening around you comes from your perceptions, your intentions, your beliefs, your love, and your generosity. From your choices. And also, what's happening comes from your fear, your avoidance, your ego battles. But for sure you are at the center of your own experience.
Whenever I take responsibility for what I am creating, life becomes much more clear. When I own my intentions, my actions, my feelings, my mistakes, and all my choices, life makes sense.
Writing every morning is a choice I've made, coming from deep in my heart. The words and ideas flow from my intention to share whatever amount of truth I'm in touch with each day, in language that encourages the possibility of awakening. The purpose is to speak to you, my community, and to remind myself and you, that you and I are wonderful beyond words. And that together we are transforming our world. When I touch my inner center, I am connected to your inner center. From this place of communion, compassion, and essential oneness, all good things flow. From this
space of soulful recognition of each other, true community is revealed.
