You are alive. Breathing. With the luxury of being able to read, what a miracle! You can read wacky new things like Facebook posts and blogspot entries. You are alive in a time of outrageous levels of communication. All manner of sharing is possible now. From totally trivial, to really crazy, to absolutely beautiful, to quite ordinary. You can write your ideas on these new mediums, you can Tweet on Twitter too. You can send little videos toYouTube, and you can broadcast photos beyond description.
In this season of intense communication, amidst competing messages about holiday sales opportunities and the usual journalistic reporting of political battles for control of your mind, let us pause. Let us focus and center in our hearts. What do you really, deep down, most want to communicate? You are alive and breathing and connected to everyone and to all that is. What do you want to say about that? You can talk about what's bothering you, or you can take a breath and get to I love you. And then, go even deeper, and shout hallelujah, tidings of joy to us all.
