DON’T LOOK DIRECTLY AT IT

DON’T LOOK DIRECTLY AT IT
That’s what they say about solar eclipses. To look directly will cause irreparable damage to your eyes. So to look into the meaning of this New Moon partial solar eclipse we will not look directly at it. We can maybe get an intuitive feel for this coming together of Sun, Moon, and special-treat Venus (Goddess of Love). We can think about what it means to us that the Moon, symbol of emotions, will be covering up the Sun, symbol of conscious Self. Will there be some big emotional releases? Will some of us be drawn back into feelings from the past, to bring them to consciousness after the eclipse passes? Will any of you (or me) be tempted to ignore the warnings, and sneak a peek at the Sun as the Moon shades over it, and be scarred for life? And as the sky begins to darken 2 hours before sunset, will we feel how strange and magical it all is— planets in space, light and darkness, the unusualness of Moon covering Sun. Something is happening here, and you don’t know what it is, do you Mr. Astrologer?
So it’s very personal and private, what this will mean to you. We know Sun Moon Venus are in the first degree of Scorpio, sign of passion, mystery and power. Add that to the mix of the scanty information we have about what’s going on. What it means to me is: this is a particularly special time of power,
an invitation to live your life to the absolute fullest, to reveal yourself, and to feel your feelings without being overshadowed by them.
