That exalted feeling when the trail has taken you to the top of the mountain and you see the wide view for miles and miles. That passage in a choral concert of sacred music when you lose yourself, and its sounds like God is singing. The timeless moment when you realize that you have survived a life-threatening illness. The first time you gaze into the eyes of your new grandchild, and every time thereafter. Watching those you love succeed and grow.
Meditating on the meaning of Jupiter moving into Leo. Imagining a combination of gratitude, joy, hope, and optimism.
Connecting with the power of a campfire as the ascending sparks disappear into the air, and the vastness of the sky, and the wide-angle curve of Lake Superior or the Pacific Ocean. The gasp of pleasure, the exhilaration of taking a leap, trying something new and liking it so much that you wonder why you never did it before.
And the passion, admitting that you love someone so much that your heart feels like it has burst, and feeling that way toward everyone, and toward the flowers, and birds, and trees. And loving
life itself, loving time, and being amazed at the abundance of it all.
