THE BEAT GOES ON

     In high school and college I played drums in an old fashioned dance band. It was my job to keep the beat, to lay down a steady rhythm. Now in my grown up years as astrologer I still feel that my work is to announce the pulse of each day, and to speak of the changes in rhythm happening in the heavens.
     You may sense a quickening of the tempo of your life, as Mars speeds up and is squared to Pluto and opposite Uranus. And the volume gets louder, and counter-rhythms make this an intense time. The voice of Mars is the voice of your intention, your desire.
What do you want to do? Are you doing it? Pluto says put all your power into it, you CAN make it happen. And Uranus says try a new way, create afresh, improvise, innovate. The little dance band of our solar system is cranking out its celestial music. Are you playing in harmony? Are you keeping the beat? Is it time for your solo?!
