FINGER OF GOD

   An old Chinese zen saying is "Don't mistake the finger pointing at the moon for the moon". Wise teachings point toward a reality that is beyond the words. I don't like to get too complicated or too technical when I share my thoughts here, lest you get put off by the strange words or terms. I prefer to point directly at the moon. But sometimes there is a juicy topic that I think (I hope) might be interesting or valuable. Here's one for you to think about.
     In astrology, a certain arrangement of planets in your chart, or in the sky, is called the Finger of God.Two planets in different signs form a long triangle with a third planet at the apex. That's happening in the sky today. The base of the triangle is Moon in Leo joined with Mars in Libra. That's dramatic emotional expression joined with relationship dialogues. Share yourself intensely, and really get into it and work some things out with those you're closest to. Feel the give and take, put it out there and be sure to listen deeply too. 
     The third planet of the triangle, the outlet for all the energy of the Finger of God, is Neptune in Pisces. All the strong feelings of Leo and the diplomatic negotiations of Libra are pointing to connection with a higher, more peaceful, egoless place of surrender. All of your intense dramatic conversations aspire to
resolve into the experience of unity, oneness, and compassionate acceptance. Like a saying from another teaching, "Let go and let God". Really get into it, and then really let it go. Feel your strong feelings, communicate what you feel, and then...go beyond. Let that Presence that is always here absorb you and fill you with light.
