This is a time of transformation. This is a time of profound creative change. You change things you've been putting up with for years. Moving from ideas about change to actual creative results, you have to work with the unexpected surprises and challenges that arise, that test your intention and your perseverance.
My wife and I found a guy who does home repairs. We have a list of thirty-three projects, some things we've wanted to fix, a list we've collected over twenty years. This repair guy is the friendliest, most cheerful fellow, who was happy to take on about ten days of work. After the first day he had worked wonders on our list, doing some things that revolutionized our home space. That night he called to say he had been in a car accident and his wrist was broken, and he will need surgery.
As we walk through the vortex of change and transformation, the things that shock us help us to wake up. Clear away one old pattern, and underneath is the next pattern to be worked on. Fix a light switch and discover a bigger wiring problem. Put in a new sink and realize old pipes need changing. So I say, hang in there.
Don't give up. Persevere on the path of creative surprises. You really have no choice. Transformation is bigger than you are. Creative transformation is bigger and stronger than anything you can imagine.
