ADVENTURE

Did you ever get on an amusement park ride and very quickly realize you made a mistake? "What was I thinking?" As the ride gets scarier and more uncomfortable you start to realize that you'd better stop fighting it, just relax. And then it gets to be kinda fun.
And afterwards, wow, it was really a great adventure.
A big week long vacation with the kids. It's gonna be so fun.
And then it rains, or your plane is delayed three hours, and you can't remember where you left your wallet, and it all gets difficult just to keep it together. Afterwards you show the photos to your friends and you realize what a great adventure it was.
Obviously where I'm going with this is: your life is a great adventure. Scary and fun. Uncomfortable and liberating. Sad and joyous. Losing yourself and finding yourself. Complaining and then appreciating. Confusing and revealing its meaning and value.
Today you have some choices to make. Do you want to be in the complaining, resisting, frightened part of your great adventure, or do you choose to go right to the appreciation and delight and joy?
