NEW CHOICES

     Thinking about what’s going on in the astrology sky now, it’s like trying to describe a visit to New York City or Paris. There is just so much happening, a riot of energies, new streets to navigate, and a great crush of people, emotions, cars, and information.
We are just about filled to the brim with energy, but there are so many different and sometimes conflicting energies that it can be hard to see the path ahead.
     Mars (assertive action) is joined with Uranus (freedom and change) in the volatile sign of Aries, and they both are challenged by Pluto in Capricorn (transformation and power of the status quo). This week and next we are experiencing the 7th and final Uranus-Pluto square, which started in June 2012. What a powerful, transforming, strange trip its been, these three years. Really hard to analyze it, you can only experience how you have transformed and been empowered, often by extreme challenges. For me it has been a new and deeper embrace of my life and my calling, after cancer diagnosis and treatment.

This time has been about coming into our lives more completely, more courageously, and more creatively. It boggles the mind to imagine what we will bring into our lives together as we spring forward into the future.
