ENLIGHTEN UP

     I'm ready to lighten up. I've been getting too serious about this blogging, posting the most profound shares I can come up with. My serious bone is getting tired. I'm trying too hard to be useful.
In high school and college, one of my identities was as a cartoonist. Serious as I was then, I could always come up with a way to tease and to point out how funny life could be. If I had stayed on the funny path, I might have found work as a writer on a show like Jon Stewart's Daily Show.
     Today, even though I'm aware that previous posts have been filled with  pontificating and giving advice, I'm intending to lighten up. It's time to let go, and let the spirit move through me. But still I don't feel ready to be funny or let divine humor flow through me, like my  friend Rebecca (http://completeiam.com/). 
     So I'll just go with simple, spontaneous honesty and say what comes up. Which is: I love you all.
